Ten years ago…

This company first gathered to dream together and put up our very first production- a four weekend run of this very same play in Ravenna Park. We romped and roamed through the mud and summer green and welcomed the audience into our fairy circle.  We followed that outdoor production with a distilled touring performance and accompanying meal to a Mary’s Place shelter in North Seattle. It was there- in the space between the emerald hues of the park and the fluorescent shine of the shelter lights, alongside the myriad humans sharing our stories- that the dream was realized and the heart and soul of this company as it exists today was born.

This summer we are back with a raucous and romantic new adaptation of William Shakespeare’s beloved comedy A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM told by cast members who were a part of the first tour, our beloved core ensemble members who have joined us on the road since, and a brilliant bunch of emerging artists being welcomed for the first time into the square.
